Beth Marks, after completing her professional dancing career, reopened the business in 1980. Located in the heart of St. Nicholas on the Southside of Jacksonville, the studio offers dance lessons in a variety of styles.
There are two studios on the premises and five teachers with extensive experience. Dance classes taught here maintain the highest standard of training. Each student is evaluated according to age and ability. Personal professional attention is taken with each student and situation providing for optimum growth and experience. Classes are kept small and enrolment is limited.
Classes begin in September allowing families to adjust to the school year first. When registered, the student has ten months of training through the second week of June, at which time we have our Spring Concert performance held at the beautiful Florida Theatre downtown. This is a theme oriented two hour performance in which all students participate.
The Ballet Arts Centre hopes to have your child begin training at age 3 and graduate at age 18.
